Kamrynn Smith, a sophomore at Youngker High in Arizona, won the open section of the girls 100-meter dash in 12.74 seconds at the 82nd Nike Chandler Rotary Invitational at Austin Field at Chandler High in Arizona. Smith also helped Youngker finish second in the open section of the 4x100-meter relay in 51.00 seconds and seventh in the open section of the 4x400 relay in 4:25.19, as well as placing ninth in the open section of the 200 meters in 26.97.
